About Us
The Stevenage Locomotive Society was formed in 1959, by a group of enthusiasts who used to meet by the side of the East Coast Main Line at Six Hills Way bridge, Stevenage. Since then more than 1000 local railway enthusiasts have enjoyed SLS meetings and visits.
There is a wide range of interest amongst our membership, whatever your interest it is likely that you will find someone here to share it with!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!
Our Meeting planned for Thursday 30th October 2025 featuring Geoff Hudson:50years with the 50s, has had to be postponed as the Council require the room for a local by-election. We are extremely sorry for this and the inconvenience caused but we do plan to rearrange it for 2026.
